Crayons

Here the boys are making beautiful art for their daddy. They enjoy coloring, however, Logan prefers to paint.

Big Bear even gets in on the action with Logan's assistance!

The finished products! Logan's is on the top and Luke's is on the bottom

Wish List

I have been receiving toy catalogs in the mail and Logan thoroughly enjoys looking through them and making his wish list. Last night he looked through this catalog for 35 minutes! He was at it again today just before lunch. I am hearing a lot of "Maw this, me want this!"

Here they are again this evening. Logan really studies each and every page as Luke flips through them pretty fast. If you'll notice Luke's catalog is upside down.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 30th birthday and although I am not too happy about turning 30 I look around myself and realize that I am surrounded by some pretty wonderful people! I have an amazing family and a husband who loves me and the boys very much. I have two beautiful boys who constantly amaze me and constantly keep me on my toes. So I realize that the number 30 is just that, a number. I am blessed to be a wife and mom and blessed to have wonderful parents and in-laws.

As for today, I am spending it taking care of Logan who is sick with a nasty stomach bug and who is going to be examined by a doctor to look at his "mouth that has a boo boo." My mom is kind enough to take Luke out of the house and to his regularly scheduled story time and has graciously offered to watch the boys this evening so Chris and I can have a night out.

On a different note this morning we are having some pretty heavy snow flurries and Luke is looking out the window just repeating over and over again...."UH-OH!", he keeps turning to me with a look on his face as if saying, It wasn't me! I wish I could know what is going on in that little head of his.

Picture Day At School

Today was picture day at Logan's preschool. Here he is all dressed up and practicing his "smiling techniques!"

Logan is still enjoying school and comes home telling lots of stories. He is picking up many things at school as well (some of which I would prefer he not learn) but he is learning many great things as well. The other day I started to sing the "ABC'S" to Logan and he said, waving his hand no-no, "me sing." This is Logan's version on the ABC'S:

uvw(dooouuble uuuuu)xyzzzzzzz, now know my c's won't sing with meeeeee

It was sweet music to my ears! Now, we just have to work on the beginning and middle of the abc's and we will have that song down!

Harvest Fair at Calvary Church

Our church had their annual harvest fair this afternoon so Chris and I loaded up the boys and headed there for some food, games and candy! We ran into many friends and family and had a great time socializing, riding tractor hay rides, eating dinner, playing games and picking out lots of candy, yum! Here are a couple of pictures from our evening.

Zoom Zoom...Logan and Luke enjoyed a couple of rides on the barrel cars. I would say that this is one of their favorites!

Logan having his turn at a little mini golf...we might have a little Tiger on our hands

Logan and cousin Tiffany waiting their turn for some fun in the bouncy house

Trick or Treat

The boys enjoyed trick or treating this year. They were especially happy when they received apples from one of the households! Luke wasted no time in taking a bite out of it! Enjoy the octopus and spider pictures!

Logan doing the octopus dance!

My little spider would hardly hold still for a picture. Here he is on the run

Our street is filled with all boys, except Emma who is not pictured here. We dubbed them the "Belgian Way Boys"
Here they are - Top:Jordan, Colin Bottom (left to right): Gregory, Cameron, Luke and Logan

Here the boys are at the end of the night, mine enjoying their apples and Gregory taking it easy!
