Diaper Free!!!
It's official, the boys are potty trained...at least well on their way! It was one week ago today when we started potty training both boys. That's right....BOTH boys! Everyone told me that when I decided to potty train Logan I should train Luke at the same time. I definitely thought that those people had lost their marbles, after all, it's easy for them to say since they had never trained 2 children at the same time...but they were right. The day had come and Luke was taking serious interest in what Logan was doing and wanted to do the exact same thing! So, I quickly found myself potty training both boys at the same time.
It has surprisingly gone very well. Logan gave me resistance at first but has made HUGE strides and is doing extremely well. He gets very excited after he does his business and gets excited for Luke as well. Logan returned to school on Tuesday (after having off on Thurs. for teacher in service) and was accident free. I knew that he would be OK but worried a little bit with a different change of schedule, different potty and without mommy. He has proved to be the "big boy" that he wants to be!
After day 2 something clicked in Luke and he just got it. He surprised me more than anything. He is the sweetest thing. I sit him on the potty and 30 seconds later he stands up and says, "I pee-pee!" On a few different occasions he has picked up his little potty and carried it over to me and said, "Pee potty," so I put him on and he did what he needed to do. He hasn't turned back since. We have been on several errands without incident and even a trip to the mall where he did his business on his little potty in the bathroom. That's right, I brought it with me! Luke who is 21 months old is now a big boy as well!

What a difference a year makes....
When I need a really quick lunch meal to feed the boys I usually grab Chef Boyardee Ravioli. They love it, however I don't always love cleaning up the mess - hence Luke! What a difference a year makes in terms of messiness (among other things). Logan hardly needs wiping up and Luke, well, take a look.....
