Luke's 1 month photos

Luke is 1 month old this week. I took him for his first professional photos and as you can see they turned out well.

Luke - 1 Month Old

Luke is now 1 month old. He is a very happy baby and just cries when hungry. I had him to the doctors for his well baby and is now 10 lbs, 13 oz. and 22" long.

Petting Zoo

My mom and I took Logan to a traveling petting zoo. He enjoyed looking at the animals and petting a few. What he especially loved though were the pony rides!

Barrel Car

There was a strawberry festival at a local church recently and they were giving barrel car rides...and of course Logan wanted in on the fun. In the pictures you can see him "changing" gears and all! Luke was missing all the fun while napping...

Banana Fun!

I have been trying for months to get Logan to eat a banana...and finally after seeing me eat one he wanted to give it a try. If only I knew months ago that he really wanted to eat it like a "big boy", with the skin on and all!

Our Boys...

Our 2 boys, what a handful! They are certainly keeping us very busy these days. Logan is now 14 months old and is such a joy. He is loving being a big brother...well that is when he even notices that Luke is around. Most of the time he is too busy getting into things or playing with his trucks! He will acknowledge Luke briefly and want to touch him and smiles, but that only lasts a few seconds before he is running off and getting into things. Luke is almost 2 weeks old and is a very good and easy baby. He is only getting up once a night which means that we are pretty well rested. Although we are busy, the transition of adding another baby to the family has been a pleasant one. 14 months apart....not bad at all!!!!

Welcome Little One! 8lbs, 10oz., 21 1/4 inches long

2 Days old - First day home

We welcomed Luke Alexander Esbenshade into the family on May 30th at 9:36pm weighing in at 8lb, 10oz. and 21 1/4 inches long. Our prayers were answered ... after just 5 1/2 hours of labor and 3 pushes later, Luke came into the world. We have been blessed with another healthy and happy baby.
