Little Helpers

Chris and I are blessed to have such wonderful boys...and just so lucky to have ones willing to pull their weight around the house!

Logan truly enjoys and looks forward to helping his daddy with the outdoor chores! Watering the shrubs is one of his favorites. Here are some pictures from this evening. p.s. It was Logan's idea to "take a seat!"

I'll tell the truth, Luke enjoys helping daddy as well, but come on, we need a player on "Team Mommy's" side! Here's my little helper for the day...but given the opportunity to help dad water or do my house work I think we all know he would choose to be wet and wild with daddy!

Handsome Boys

These pictures were taken this morning out in our flower garden. The boys were in silly moods as Luke was blowing bubbles and Logan found that to be hilarious! The day lily's are beautiful in full bloom and the boys in the picture aren't so bad to look at either :)

It's Official....Luke is walking

Luke took his first steps over Memorial Day Weekend and on Fathers Day he started officially walking. While we were at the beach he polished up on his skills and began using walking as his mode of "transportation." He is a nice steady walker who doesn't seem to mind and walks very well on different surfaces such as sand, mulch and grass. It was fun to see Chris' reaction when we got home as Luke started to strut his stuff. So cute.

Ocean City 2008

The boys and I spent 4 days in Ocean City this past week. We went down with my sister in law and her two little girls, Tiffany & Sydney, as well as with my mother in law. We had such beautiful weather and tons of fun. Both of my boys loved the beach, which was a surprise considering that last year Logan did not like the sand/ ocean at all. Here are some pictures from our trip. There were 4 children ages 3,2,1 and 11 months.

We all had a nice time but were ready to come home and see Chris. As we pulled into the driveway Logan quickly spotted his daddy and starting yelling daddy and got big crocodile tears in his eyes from the excitement. The moment was so sweet and just priceless. Yet another missed moment that I wish I had captured on camera/ video.

First day on the beach. Here is the crew minus my sister in law, Patti, who is taking the picture.
Luke and Sydney were really cute together. She was following him around all week.

Luke loved the sand and was digging his little heart out
Logan checking out the ocean, which he was unsure about. He was curious about it but didn't want to get too close. Maybe on the next trip when Daddy is with us he will be more adventurous.
Story time with Logan and Tiffany
Logan loves rides but seemed to love it even more when he had someone to ride with him. Next year all 4 kids will be riding the rides....

Sick Computer....

Ugh!!! The computer got a virus!!! We don't know how but that thing sure did mess stuff up. We were without the computer for a full week (although most of that week I was at the beach with the boys) but I sure did miss it! We are now back up and running and will have pictures posted from "The Beach Boys" coming soon :)

Staying Cool...

Here are the boys in their pool, complete with water slide and all, staying cool on this hot day. It looked so refreshing that I was thinking about slipping into my swimsuit and sliding on in! Ha!

Baltimore Aquarium

We thought that we would beat the heat today and go to the Baltimore Aquarium. Much to our surprise the Aquarium was almost just as hot inside as it was outside. After the aquarium we were able to meet up with friends and spent some time at Inner Harbor.

The aquarium does not allow strollers inside however they do have a stroller check and do provide front/ back carriers to those who need them. We opted for a back carrier for Luke as we thought that would be easier.

The aquarium was packed in the morning but by after lunch we were able to view the fish and go through the exhibits without any crowds. The boys got up close and personal with many different species of fish, sting rays, sharks, sea turtles, frogs, lizards, snakes, dolphins and many others sea animals. We were able to watch up close the feeding of the sting rays and sea turtles which was very neat and very enjoyable. We traveled through the aquarium, Australia, The Rain forest (didn't spend much time in there as the temp. was soaring!!!), Dolphin and Frog Exhibits as well as many others. One of our personal favorites was Australia were we were able to see many different lizards, snakes, alligators, sea turtles, birds, bats and other beautiful animals.

Some of Logan's favorites were the turtles, which he would yell at the top of his lungs and with much passion, TURTLES, he also enjoyed the sharks and the frogs. Luke was in a backpack carrier for the morning but after nearly breaking Chris' back (he weighs 28 lbs) we took him out and he enjoyed himself tremendously! He was so cute waving to the fish and saying "Hiiiiiii" as well as clapping, laughing and letting out some pretty loud shrieks! He was right up against the glass and would just laugh as the fish, sharks and all the other sea life would swim by.

Here are some pictures of our day. I must say that these aren't the best pictures because all the boys wanted to do was watch the sea life and not take 30 sec. to look at the camera for a picture. So most of the pictures are from behind. So, we hope you enjoy looking at the back of their heads! :)

Classic Logan

I took this picture this morning right before we were going to leave to get the boys pictures taken by Heather. This is a classic Logan moment with him relaxing watching a little bit of tv while sucking his thumb.

Rub-A-Dub-Dub...Two boys in a tub!

Bath time is ALWAYS a hit in our house. Here are the boys with silly hair and Luke practicing drinking out of a cup. (p.s. It's fresh water from the faucet!)
